Human brain power vs Artificial intelligence
Artificial intelligence (AI) is a far- reaching branch of computer science involved with building smart machines capable of performing jobs that consistently demand human intelligence.
Siri, Alexa and other smart assistants, Self-driving cars, Robo-advisors Conversational bots, Email spam filters, Netflix's recommendations are some of the examples of AI.
There seems little common understanding concerning the differences and similarities of human brains and artificial intelligence as AI is the one of the most controversial subjects of today. Intelligence alertness in humans should be addressed more actively to obtain a well-functioning Human AI system.
AI can drastically improve the efficiencies and capabilities of workplaces
and enhance the work humans can do. But humans should prepare to defend
themselves before developing dangerous AI technologies.
-
They should give machines too much power over them.
-
Humans should stop being lazy and start doing tasks by
themselves rather than depending upon the machines and technologies all the
time
- AI is influencing the future of almost every industry and human, virtually, hence the usage should be limited.
For emerging technologies like big data, robotics and
IoT, AI has acted as the main driver. It will be a technological innovator for
the near future.
AI is
of 4 types:
- Reactive machines
- Limited memories
- Self-awareness
- Theory of mind
Based on these four sets the whole AI system
is set up. Where in the beginning huge robots took place with AI emerging.
At present microrobots and pint size robots are taking a toll.
AI
augments the
speed, preciseness and effectiveness of work done by humans. In the finance
sector, AI techniques are being used to detect fraudulent data, data accuracy,
and automate manually intense data management tasks.
There have been imaginary buzzwords like cyberspace,
telepathy, parallel universe etc. but what is more real is AI. AI machines can exhibit the
same level of intelligence as humans, which is attracting the whole world's
attention and hence AI is ruling the tech world. Due to
technologies like machines and algorithms, 133 million new jobs are expected to
be created by 2022 compared to 75 million that will be displaced (According to
the World Economic Forum forecasts).
According to the reports published in Tractica, AI revenue could grow from $643.7 million in 2016 to $36.8 billion by 2025.
While some entry-level jobs or tasks, like sorting through resumes, may give way to technology, I believe the need for people who understand data and those who can analyze them to make smarter decisions will only increase with this shift. In the near future, I predict that AI will make way for technologies that blend the processing power of machines with human, social, and emotional intelligence to augment our capabilities in new and exciting ways.
Why are businesses becoming experts in AI?
Businesses bloom by using AI applications to curtail
risks, reduce costs, and advance production. There is a complete absence of
emotions in AI which not only allows machines to think logically but could also
enhance the chance of achieving accuracy with greater precision and reduced
risks. Massive disruption of resources with robotic science in categories like
mining, medicines, digital assistance and even public utilities can aid
companies overcome limitations.
